Join us for an engaging evening with Guy Newland, Ph.D., scholar of Tibetan Buddhism and professor at Central Michigan University since 1988. He has authored, translated, and edited a number of publications on Tibetan Buddhism.

In this two-day series, Dr. Guy Newland will give a presentation of emptiness based on Tsongkhapa's Great Treatise, thereby explaining what is distinctive about Tsongkhapa's ideas. Dr. Newland will then go on to explain how this leads to the Gelukpa presentation of the two truths.
