Picture
“Old Students” of Lama Thubten Yeshe (1935-1984) gather for a story-fest. This time in virtual space, watch and listen as they continue to add to the oral history of this extraordinary teacher. Their stories will give a taste of his unique skills in expressing wisdom, compassion and humor. Lama was one of the very first teachers who brought Buddhism from Tibet to the West in the 1960’s. With his heart-son, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Lama founded the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). For 30 years Tse Chen Ling has been one of the several hundred centers under the worldwide FPMT umbrella.
