Bookended by retreats at sister centers in the Bay Area, Ven. René Feusi will return to Tse Chen Ling, in person, to teach a one-evening session. Ven René will read from, teach on, and lead a meditation on the 8th Chapter of his book, The Beautiful Way of Life, itself a commentary on Shantideva’s A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (Bodhicāryavatara).

Q&A will follow.

Chocolate and tea will be available for those who can gather in person to celebrate Ven. René's return to Tse Chen Ling.

About  René Feusi:
Venerable René Feusi was born in Switzerland. At the age of 20, he attended the annual November course at Kopan Monastery in Nepal where he met Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche. At age 26, he took getsul (novice) ordination in Dharamsala, India, and the full ordination (gelong) the following year.

After two years of study and retreats in India and Nepal, Venerable René entered Nalanda Monastery in France, where he studied under Khensur Rinpoche Geshe Tegchok. After completing his studies and the traditional nine preliminary practices, he entered a two-and-a-half-year solitary retreat at O Sel Ling Retreat Center in Spain.
Since then, he has spent his time teaching and leading retreats. Venerable René is the author of The Beautiful Way of Life: A Meditation on Shantideva’s Bodhisattva Path.

Suggested donation amounts are provided, and we welcome you to offer what you can to help us sustain our programming and make the dharma and events like this possible. And of course, ordained sangha (ordained nuns and monks) are always welcome free of charge.
