The Mind Is a River of Moments
|
One of the Buddha’s essential points is that your mind is not physical. It’s a continuity of mental moments — it’s a river of mental moments, it’s an unbroken chain of mental links, going back and back beginninglessly. If we posit the law of cause and effect, then by definition a moment of consciousness – in fact, a moment of anything – has to have a previous moment. Ven Robina will take us through this meditation and explore what this means experientially and the very good news it delivers.
