The rush and quality of information we live with impacts us. And now, AI. Artificial or not, how does intelligence square up with wisdom? What advice, seen from a Buddhist perspective, might help us navigate more wisely through the Information thicket? Scott’s talk will include some guided meditation and reflection along with time for questions and discussion.
About the Presenter:
Scott Tusa is a Buddhist meditation teacher and practitioner devoted to living meaningfully through the Buddhist path. He has studied with a variety of Tibetan masters and was ordained by His Holiness the Dalai Lama at age 28. Scott spent nine years living as a monk, deepening his understanding of the Dharma, engaging in solitary meditation retreats, and continuing his studies with teachers in India, Nepal, and the United States, including his main teachers Lama Zopa Rinpoche and Tsoknyi Rinpoche. Since 2008 he has been teaching Buddhist meditation in group and one-to-one settings in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and online.
Registration:
Advance registration is required.
We offer all Dharma teachings and center events on a “dana” basis. This means we’re grateful for your generosity but there is no required cost to attend and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Suggested donation amounts are provided, and we welcome you to offer what you can to help us sustain our programming and make the dharma and events like this possible. And of course, ordained sangha (ordained nuns and monks) are always welcome free of charge.
If you're not donating at this time but would like to attend, please email [email protected].
