Program Description:
It is easier to be a fanatical Buddhist than a thinking Buddhist. However the benefit will be
much greater if you develop your own wisdom. ~ Venerable Robina Courtin
It is said that just as a bird needs two wings, we need both wisdom and compassion. When we work on our own minds, we're developing wisdom. The more we do, the more we'll decrease our delusions, increase our positive qualities, and increase our own sense of happiness.
There are special skills we develop on the path to enlightenment. Rather than focusing on the external world, we learn to pay attention to the internal landscapes of our mind. Slowly, with skill and work, we learn how to see, and eventually change our minds.
Tse Chen Ling is delighted to welcome back Ven. Robina Courtin! Join us for this two-session series as Ven. Robina shares her insights and practical advice on how to develop our own wisdom.
