Coming Home: Meditation Retreat

Picture
with Ven. Jampa Sangmo

Sunday, July 24, 2022
10:00am - 11:00am PDT

Via Zoom

Registration required

Due to the recent surge in Covid cases in the Bay Area, we're changing the plan for our July 24 meditation event. The safety of our students, teacher, and staff is our first priority. So Sunday's session will now be Zoom-only, from 10am-11am Pacific. Ven. Jampa Sangmo will give a short talk and lead us in guided meditation, followed by Q&A.

We're planning to do in-person retreat days again, when circumstances permit. Switching to Zoom-only for this Sunday will still give us a chance to be together (virtually), and meditate following instruction from a great teacher. We hope to see you there!

Program Description:

Join us for a morning retreat of meditation. We will learn ways to weave these ancient practices, given to us by the Buddha, to benefit us through whatever the current times may bring.

After instruction and a guided meditation session, there will be time for community and questions and answers. This retreat is open to people of all backgrounds and experience.

About Ven. Jampa Sangmo:

Ven. Jampa Sangmo is a Tibetan Buddhist nun whose practice began with Vipassana Meditation and numerous long retreats. She came to Tibetan Buddhism in 1993 and began her studies with several Buddhist Masters including Lama Zopa Rinpoche, H.E. Choden Rinpoche, Ribur Rinpoche and Thich Nhat Hanh and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She took robes with her teacher Khensur Jampa Tegchok Rinpoche in 2008. She has lectured and led meditation groups and retreats at organizations, corporations and meditation centers.
