Monica Hung has been a student of Lama Zopa Rinpoche since 1992. She has held many different positions at FPMT Centers in Taiwan and has studied with HE Choden Rinpoche, Oser Rinpoche, Khentse Rinpoche, Geshe Ngawang Dakpa and other resident Geshes. Monica was the Center Director at Shakyamuni Buddha Center in Taiwan and has led retreats, pujas, and class discussions. Having studied Tibetan in India for two years, she has interpreted for many teachers providing Tibetan to Mandarin or English translation in FPMT Centers.

We are very happy to announce that Monica will be sharing her wealth of Buddhist knowledge and experience with a class specifically for Mandarin speakers in the Bay Area. This introductory class is open to all and will address basic questions about Tibetan Buddhism. All are welcome.

Tse Chen Ling Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies is a Dharma Center dedicated to cultivating compassion and wisdom. Inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we provide teachings and practices in the Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. We offer meditation and a wide-range of Buddhist and secular programs as well as other basic life improvement classes. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization located in the Ingleside neighborhood of San Francisco.
