Awakening From Our Illusion of Separateness
with Scott Tusa

Sunday, May 25th, 10:30am - 12pm
Facebook Livestream
There are many ways to approach the practice of meditation. On the Buddhist path meditation is a tool to uncover the true peace of our own inner awakened nature.
Rather than a “self-help” technique or a limited "transactional " method, Buddhist meditation aims to cultivate a relational awareness. One where the development of our own inner peace connects into a responsibility and altruism towards others.
Through a combination of experiential learning and meditation, we will explore the intersections of core Buddhist principles and our everyday lives, where integrative meditation practices meet the world around us.
Scott Tusa is a Buddhist teacher based in Brooklyn, New York. Ordained by His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama, he spent nine years as a Buddhist monk, with much of that time engaged in solitary meditation retreat and study in the United States, India, and Nepal. He teaches meditation and Buddhist psychology internationally in group and one-to-one settings, and supports Tsoknyi Rinpoche's Pundarika Sangha as a practice advisor.
