Go Beyond Fear

with Venerable Robina Courtin
Offered via Zoom.  Advance Registration required to attend this teaching.

Karuna Cayton
Sunday, May 3rd
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

According to the Buddha, attachment, anger and the rest of our unhappy states of mind are in the very nature of fear. But they are not at the core of our being and can be removed. This is implied by the very word “buddha” itself: the first syllable implies the total eradication from our minds or all delusions and the second syllable implies the development to perfection of our goodness and wisdom.
The job of a Buddhist, then, is to become intimately familiar with our mind so that we can the job of developing this marvelous potential – and, finally, by realizing emptiness – going beyond fear.
