The Power of True Rest
with Scott Tusa
Sunday, Dec 29: 10:30am-12pm
True rest is something that comes about when we begin to unwind not only the conditions of our stress reactions but the deeper constrictions that bind us to our conditioned sense of self in the world.
At the core of true rest is knowing how to relax and connect with a sense of openness authentically. We begin by simply relating to our experience of our body and emotions as it is without trying to fix whatever arises.
This morning we’ll practice together with a combination of guided meditation and discussion. Plus enjoy those treats.
This is part of our Taste of Buddhism program. Join us for a short talk, meditation, and taste treats on Sunday mornings. Each week features a new topic. Open to all levels.
