Long Life Puja with Lama Choepa/Tsok for Geshe Ngawang Dakpa
10am - 1pm, Saturday, Dec 7, 2019
Offering a Long Life Puja is a way to repay the kindness of our teachers, to create the karma to meet qualified teachers, and to maintain the presence of Buddhism. It is only when we have access to a qualified teacher that we have the opportunity to listen and learn Buddha Dharma. The Long Life Puja is the traditional Tibetan way to request a teacher to stay long. It is an auspicious way to create the causes to have a healthy teacher who can stay with us to bestow teachings. To create this auspicious depending arising, there are many substances to offer during the puja and creating the auspicious causes is the responsibility of all the students.
Please join us as we come together to offer a Long Life Lama Chöpa to our dear Geshe Ngawang Dakpa. Geshe-la has taught the students of Tse Chen Ling with endless kindness and unsurpassed wisdom since 1999.
Golden Light and Vajra Sponsors will be invited to join the Offering Procession. |
