Lhabab Duchen

Tuesday, 11/19  - All Day Event
​Lhabab Duchen, one of the four great holy days of the Tibetan calendar, takes place this year on Tuesday, November 19.

Lhabab Duchen celebrates when Lord Buddha actually descended from the God Realm of Thirty-Three after teaching his mother and the gods living there Dharma for several months. As a multiplying day, karmic results of actions on this day are multiplied 100 million times (see more here).

On this auspicious day, Tse Chen Ling will providing a number of activities in which all are welcome to accumulate benefit for all sentient beings.

​Schedule:
  • 6:30am - 7:30am: Eight Mahayana Precepts and Morning Prayers led by Ven. Carol. (Please email office@tsechenling.org if you are taking Precepts for the first time.)
  • 8am - 10am:  Sutra Reading (Stay for the whole session or any part of it.)
  • 6:30pm - 8pm: Shakyamuni Buddha Puja with Praises to the Sixteen Arhats led by Ven. Carol.
