Death & Chocolate
with Janice Polizzi and MaryEllen Kirkpatrick
Wednesday, November 20: 7pm-9pm
Death is one of the most difficult transitions we make, but often we turn away from even discussing it until it is upon us and we are least able to think things through.
At Death And Chocolate, we come together to drink tea, eat cake and discuss death. Our objective is to provide a venue where we can begin an open and judgement free conversation about the end that waits for us all. People of all ages and backgrounds will find participation in this event beneficial. Please join us to talk about whatever death-related things are on your mind. Maybe it’s medical care, funerals, family dynamics, loss, fear or grief. Maybe it’s existential issues or maybe something else. There is no fixed agenda, but there will be tea and cake. Open to all. Facilitator(s): Janice Polizzi and MaryEllen Kirkpatrick are both longterm practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism, and experienced facilitators with extensive experience in hospice and bedside caregiving. |
Suggested Donation is $10-15 at the door. Your generous donations are essential for the continuation of programs like this. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds.
