Waking from the Dream

Ven. Carol Corradi
Sunday, July 7: 10:30am-12pm
The Buddha explained that life is like an illusion, cautioning us to see reality as it is if we seek lasting happiness and freedom from suffering. Our lives are conditioned by our views and preconceptions. Once we recognize this connection, we can begin to wake up from the dream and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Based on the book, How to See Yourself As You Really Are by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this talk will touch on methods to begin that journey through meditation and reflection.

This is part of our Taste of Buddhism program. Join us for a short talk, meditation, and taste treats on Sunday mornings. Each week features a new topic. Open to all levels.
