Everyday Dharma
Ven. Carol Corradi
Sunday, March 31: 10:30am-12pm
Dharma is a Sanskrit word often used to refer to the vast collection of Buddhist Teachings. The Buddha’ discourses can be summed up as:
"Do not commit any unwholesome actions,
Enjoy creating perfect virtue,
Subdue one's own mind:
This is the teaching of the Buddha."
Simple advice but not so easy to apply. This talk will discuss ways to use this advice to gain a happier and more peaceful life through the practice of thought transformation-- a method that teaches us how to transform suffering into happiness.
