Easier Old Age & Good Death

with Judy Weitzner
Sunday, Jan 13, 2018: 10am-12pm
Sunday, Jan 27, 2018: 10am-12pm
Walk away from this two-session course with at least two crucial documents to help your resolution come true: the Advance Medical Care Directive and the Durable Power for Finances. Judy will help you create them anew or guide you to see if the documents you have are in alignment with your current thoughts and values. She will also recommend other documents designed to bring peace of mind to you and those in your orbit.

Judy Weitzner met Lama Yeshe (Founder of the FPMT) in Nepal in 1969. Due to his comment, "It makes my heart break to see how older people are treated in America--if you can, do something about it", she has worked for over 40 years in the field of aging. She helped found the first Hospice in Contra Costa. She produced and hosted a television show for 10 years about issues of concern to older adults. She continues to consult with families about care choices for elders and help them navigate the complex system of care.
