​Lhabab Duchen, one of the four great holy days of the Tibetan calendar, takes place this year on Wednesday, October 31.

Lhabab Duchen celebrates when Lord Buddha actually descended from the God Realm of Thirty-Three after teaching his mother and the gods living there Dharma for several months. As a multiplying day, karmic results of actions on this day are multiplied 100 million times (see more here).

On this auspicious day, Tse Chen Ling will providing a number of activities in which all are welcome to accumulate benefit for all sentient beings.

• 6:30am: Eight Mahayana Precepts led by Ven. Carol Corradi (Please email [email protected] to attend Precepts)
• 10am: 16 Arhat Puja led by Geshe Ngawang Dakpa
• 2pm: Recitation of the Sutra of Golden Light led by Ven. Carol Corradi
