SakaDawa

with TCL Sangha

Tuesday, May 29th: All day event

SakaDawa, is one of the most sacred of Buddhist holidays, when we celebrate the birth, enlightenment and death (parinirvana) of the Buddha Shakyamuni.
The merit of any good deeds that you perform during this month are considered to be multiplied many times over — by as much as one hundred million times 2 — so it is an excellent time to dedicate ourselves to all kinds of spiritually positive actions.

Schedule of Events
  • 5:30am Precepts (please email [email protected] if you will be joining us for precepts)
  • 9:00am Shakyamuni Buddha puja with TCL Sangha
  • 10:00am Sutra for Remembering the Three Jewels
  • 4:00pm Medicine Buddha puja with TCL Sangha
  • 6:30pm 16 Arhat Puja with Geshe Dakpa
