Wellness Moves Fall Session

Intention of class
Move with ease to embrace life to the fullest
​What it entails
Weekly group practice of gentle movement with integration of Therapeutic yoga which is empowering for restoring ease of movement in body and stillness in mind.
Benefits
  • Improves joint health for ease of movement in daily life
  • Modifies pain by restoring balance in sympathetic (flight or fight response) and parasympathetic nervous (calm and peaceful) system
  • Empowers individuals for self care
  • Energizes the body & calms the mind to embrace total wellbeing
No prior experience with yoga required for participation.

Education and experience
  • Licensed Physical therapist
  • 33 years of work experience in movement dysfunction caused by acute and chronic joint problems, sports injuries, women's health and chronic pain
  • Integrating therapeutic yoga in PT practice since 2000
  • Studying for Professional Yoga certification to promote Yoga in health care
  • Advanced restorative yoga training and Certified level 1 restorative yoga teachers training, by Judith Lasater
  • Pelvic floor teachers training from Leslie Howard

Tse Chen Ling Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies is a Dharma Center dedicated to cultivating compassion and wisdom. Inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we provide teachings and practices in the Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. We offer meditation and a wide-range of Buddhist and secular programs as well as other basic life improvement classes. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization located in the Ingleside neighborhood of San Francisco.
