Discovering Buddhism: Transforming Problems into Happiness

with Ven. Angie Muir

Tuesdays, 7:00pm–9:00pm
January 17
–January 31, 2017
April 11, 2017
(4 classes)
In this Discovering Buddhism Module, we will explore how to use mind training techniques to transform problems into happiness, discover the source of our problems and thereby reduce them. We will see how problems can be transformed into causes for our own happiness and, in turn, lead to our ability to cherish and support others more naturally and effectively.

In this course, you will learn meditations as well as other techniques which can be used throughout your day to help create the transformation and happiness you seek. This course includes lecture, meditation and plenty of time for questions and answers.

Recommended books:
  • “Transforming Problems into Happiness” by Lama Zopa Rinpoche
  • “Transforming the Mind” by the Dalai Lama
