Everyday Wakefulness

with Ven. Tenzin Namsel

Friday, November 4, 2016
7:00pm – 9:00pm
In each moment we have a choice. A choice of whether to open to our present experience or to close down into our familiar patterns. Truly opening our hearts is a process and one that takes practice.

In this evening's discussion, meditation and Q&A, we will explore various methods for opening our hearts to the present moment, bringing wakefulness into each experience.  Through this wakefulness, we can live more peaceful, compassionate lives.
Ven. Tenzin Namsel

Tenzin Namsel is an American Buddhist monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He took his monastic ordination with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2008 and has developed his Buddhist studies and practice under an array of well-respected Tibetan Buddhist masters and in a variety of solitary meditation retreats since his early twenties. Namsel teaches meditation and Buddhist philosophy throughout the United States. He also supports Tsoknyi Rinpoche's Pundarika Sangha as a practice advisor and leads review sessions during teaching retreats with Tsoknyi Rinpoche.

Our ability to continue offering these teachings is dependent on the generosity of donors. If you find this online content useful and you are not already attending the teachings in person, any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your kind support.
