Kanchan Thakar is a licensed physical therapist since 30 years. She likes to integrate restorative yoga in her practice for personal wellness and also for those who need help with mobility and pain issues. Recently, during the pursuit of expanding her horizons, she studied with world renowned restorative Yoga teacher Judith Lasater and got a certification for teaching Restorative yoga.

After years of practicing in outpatient clinics, Kanchan has developed this integrative movement class, to provide an affordable wellness resource in the community. The intention is to provide guidance for a wellness experience in the present for a healthier you in the future.

The New Year has begun
Let us set an intention and move towards that.

Join us on Wednesday morning for Wellness Moves practice.
 
The intention of this class is to offer the best of scientific based therapeutic exercises and principles of yoga to improve mobility, core strength and balance.

Minimal requirement for participation: ability to get up and down the floor with or without support.
No prior experience of yoga required.  New participants are welcome.

Tse Chen Ling Center for Tibetan Buddhist Studies is a Dharma Center dedicated to cultivating compassion and wisdom. Inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, we provide teachings and practices in the Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. We offer meditation and a wide-range of Buddhist and secular programs as well as other basic life improvement classes. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization located in the Ingleside neighborhood of San Francisco.
