Women of Wisdom
Celebrating the living legacy of buddhist women

For Women of Wisdom: Celebrating the Living Legacy of Buddhist Women, Tse Chen Ling is proud to have partnered with key organizations whose work aligns with the aims of the series. We heartily encourage all those attending events in the series to explore the work of these great organizations and their crucial work to highlight and support the role of women in Buddhism and Buddhist communities.

Digital Thangka

Founded and run by artisan Fred van der Zee, the mission of Digital Thangka is to offer the global community thangka images, firmly rooted in Tibetan painting traditions but with the perfection of the digital age. On their website, one can find stunning high resolution images of mandalas, deities, lineage lamas created with the intention that they be used for practice by Buddhists. To that end, Digital Thangka offers all of its images for free download so long that they are not to be altered and to be used respectfully.

Tse Chen Ling is grateful to have Digital Thangka grant us permission to use their images frequently as part of the Women of Wisdom: Celebrating the Living Legacy of Buddhist Women series.  Please consider visiting Digital Thangka and making a donation and supporting their efforts to share free Tibetan Buddhist images with all.
