Class Description:
On each of these Sunday mornings, Geshe-la will explore and guide practices to help us navigate, focus, restore, cultivate, transform, clarify, regulate, and nurture ourselves and others.

Seeing Dependent Arising in Everything examines how to loosen the grip of ego-grasping by understanding dependent arising, the best method for realizing emptiness. The focus is on how we can apply dependent arising in everyday life.

We will have a talk, some meditation, time for Q&A plus tea and scones. Come for inspiration and community.

About Geshe Tenzin Legtsok:
Guided by his teachers, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Khensur Lama Lhundrup, Geshe-la has devoted decades to study and practice in the Tibetan Gelug tradition. Born in Virginia in 1971, he obtained a B.A. from Kenyon University in 1995. Asking himself, “What makes for the most happy and meaningful life?” compelled him to major in philosophy during college and led him to study Tibetan Buddhism. Geshe-la was ordained by His Holiness in 2001. He trained first at Kopan and then at Sera Jey Monastery in India. He received his Geshe degree in 2023 and in 2025 completed his Tantric Degree at Gyumed Tantric College. He has a unique ability to bridge cultures and convey profound Buddhist teachings. His teaching emphasizes understanding and transforming the mind through practice. Whether you are a long-time practitioner or just beginning to explore the Dharma, this is an opportunity to learn from a teacher whose depth of knowledge is matched by his warmth, humility, and insight.
