Dear Friend of Tse Chen Ling,

I am writing to thank you for your heartfelt generosity during these past few years. We’ve all had to weather many difficulties and the future looks challenging as well, but this precious Dharma Jewel that we possess is supreme. It is the key to lasting happiness and the release from all suffering.

Your kind support makes it possible for Tse Chen Ling to offer an unbroken lineage of Tibetan Buddhist teachings

from Lama Tsongkhapa to His Holiness the 14
th Dalai Lama. TCL hosted H.E. Ling Rinpoche this year along with visits from Geshe Thubten Sherab, and continued teachings from our dear Geshe Dakpa. We’ve enjoyed programs with accomplished Western teachers including Ven. Sangye Khadro, Ven. Robina Courtin and Gen Don Handrick.

This year’s appeal is directed at sustainability and the future of Tse Chen Ling Center.

To supplement Geshe Dakpa’s ongoing programs, we have invited an accomplished Western Geshe to teach part-time at Tse Chen Ling next year. We also envision inviting a Kopan Geshema to teach at TCL for an extended period in the future. Our program team is
excitedly planning a special "Women of Wisdom" series for 2025. Hosting these young, new Geshes and visiting teachers to offer a vibrant and diverse program will help TCL connect with newer students and grow our community.

Besides the costs of running these programs Tse Chen Ling needs to find the best way
to provide housing for teachers. Part of the year-end appeal will be directed toward
creating a fund for housing part-time resident teachers.
In addition to creating the housing fund we would like to implement upgrades to our building including ADA access and improved restroom facilities. (TCL has received a Merit Box grant to help with the ADA costs.)
Our final task is to source a stupa for our backyard as advised by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and under the guidance of Geshe Dakpa.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to jumpstart the housing fund and accomplish the Center upgrades described above, including the cost of the stupa.

Donate today and dedicate the merits of your donation to increasing peace and harmony for all beings. What could be better?

With love and prayers,

Ven. Carol
