Neuroscience and Dharma: Lojong to Train the Habitual Reptile Mind
with Amy Barton-Cayton
Thursday, May 8 7:00pm – 8:30pm All recent science about the brain confirms the ancient wisdom of Buddhism’s knowing about the mind. Even when we know better, our habitual thoughts trap us in a cycle of thinking that is harmful to ourselves and others. This class focuses on a dharma inspired tool for changing your brain to support what your mind already knows through practice about shifting unhelpful mental states and destructive emotions. Everyone is welcome. |
