Opportunity to collect merit! Help us buy our building!

Dear Dharma Brothers and Sisters,
Tse Chen Ling is fortunate to be part of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition, an authentic lineage preserving the Buddha’s teachings in the tradition of Lama Tsong Khapa, started by Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
We offer the Dharma through the precious teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Geshe Ngawang Dakpa and many other great masters.  Named by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Tse Chen Ling “Land of Great Compassion” opened on Saka Dawa, June 8th, 1990.
This Friday, June 9th, we will commemorate Saka Dawa and 27 years of preserving and sharing these extraordinary teachings.  During these years, we have moved many times within San Francisco to serve different neighborhoods, but our community has remained strong through all of these moves.  In October 2013 we moved into 302 Jules, our current location.
We have been raising funds for a down payment to purchase our building over the last few years.  Now, we have a remarkable opportunity to buy this San Francisco property at the 2013 price!  We have raised almost $100,000-we need less than $400,000 more to complete this purchase!  This is only $20,000 from twenty donors or forty donations of $10,000.  In a neighborhood where properties list for $800,000 to over $1Million, this is amazing!
Lama Zopa Rinpoche has said that it is very beneficial for Tse Chen Ling to buy this property; Geshe Dakpa has said the same.  It is our heart goal to fulfill the wishes of these Precious Jewels.
This Saka Dawa, a day when the benefits of positive actions are multiplied 100 million times, you can create incredible benefit by preserving the Dharma firsthand- enabling Tse Chen Ling to realize this aspiration.  Your gift will ensure the continuation of the teachings and satisfy the wishes of these Precious Lamas.
Please consider being one of the twenty, forty, one hundred or more, exemplary donors who pledge to accomplish this once in a lifetime goal.  This is the perfection of generosity!
With sincere thanks and best wishes,
Ven. Ngawang Choezum (Lisa Nystrom)
TCL Director
Ven. Jampa Chotso (Carol Corradi)
