“Transforming Problems”

Learn the disadvantages of self-cherishing and the advantages of cherishing others. Learn to employ the special techniques of mind training (lojong) to transform problems into happiness.
This module will consist of 8 classes on Thursday evenings from 7pm-9pm.
NOTE:  There will be no class on Thursday March 1st, Day of Miracles.
The Practice Day will be on Saturday April 14th.
Register in class on Feb 15.
These classes are offered for free but donations to cover center expenses are appreciated!

The first fifteen days of the new year are especially auspicious for Buddhist practice. They celebrate the fifteen days on which, in order to increase the merit and the devotion of future disciples, the Buddha displayed a different miracle each day. These 15 days lead up to Day of Miracles, Chotrul Duchen on March 1st
Join us each morning starting on

Saturday Feb 17 through Thursday March 1 for Precepts, Daily Mantra Recitation and Confession to the 35 Buddhas.
Practice Schedule:
6:15am: Mantras and Prayers
6:30am: Precepts
7:00am: Confession to the 35 Buddhas and General Confession

You may attend any part of the daily practices you wish; precepts are not required.

Year of the Earth Dog
Losar is the Tibetan New Year, a three-day festival that mixes sacred and secular practices–prayers, ceremonies, hanging prayer flags, folk dancing, and music. It is the most widely celebrated of all Tibetan festivals and represents a time for all things to be purified and renewed.

10am-noon: Lama Chopa Tsog with TCL Sangha
6 pm: Greeting & Losar talk with Geshe Dakpa
7 pm: PotLuck dinner followed by Raffle, Silent Auction and More!
